A washable sofa: stylish and practical
The fabrics we use for our sofas are furniture-grade quality. They are tested for abrasion resistance using the Martindale test: the Facet reaches 100.000 cycles [1], the Avon 80.000 [2].
The fact that a fabric ages over time due to sunlight, use, and everyday life, is a natural process. Regular vacuuming and keeping a stain kit handy, helps enormously. But sometimes you just want everything fresh again. And you can, because all our covers are removable and washable.
Washing tips for your Kairos covers
Wash the cover inside out, with zippers and velcro closed.
Choose a delicate wash cycle at a low temperature and use a mild detergent.
Spin at a maximum of 1000 rpm and never tumble dry.
Put the covers back on the cushions without drying them any further, that way they dry perfectly wrinkle-free.
For wool fabrics, use a wool wash cycle and wool detergent.
