Do you prefer a sturdy robust fabric, or a supple soft one? Here we tell you everything about the possibilities with our fabrics.

Facet
Recycled wool, lightly mélange, soft and luxurious to the touch.
Avon
Woven from recycled PET, with a matte appearance close to wool.Facet is lightly mélange and available in a wide range of colours. This woollen upholstery fabric is made from 75% post-consumer recycled woollen clothing and 25% polyamide for strength. This upholstery gives your sofa a beautifully soft and luxurious look.
Production takes place in Italy, which in the world of upholstery fabrics can be considered quite local. The Facet is also exceptionally wear-resistant with a Martindale value of 100,000.
What we are very enthusiastic about is that an LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) is available for the Facet, in which the environmental impact has been measured in all its facets. This is an important tool for making sustainable choices. If you choose the Facet, you choose a proven low environmental impact.

Avon is woven from yarns that are 100% obtained from recycled (post-consumer) PET bottles. The fabrics are therefore 100% polyester, but have a beautiful matte appearance, almost indistinguishable from a woollen fabric.
Avon is the fabric with the lowest environmental impact in our range. The materials are Italian in origin and the fabrics are woven in Germany. In the world of upholstery fabrics, that can be considered quite local. With a wear resistance of 80,000 Martindale, the Avon is also very durable.
The Avon also has an LCA (Life Cycle Analysis), in which the environmental impact has been measured in all its facets. This is an important tool for making sustainable choices. If you choose the Avon, you choose a proven low environmental impact.

What could be better. We would rather tell you honestly where our fabrics fall short than pretend they are perfect.
The Facet fabrics are composed of different materials. Such a fabric is more difficult to recycle into a high-quality new product at the end of its life cycle.
Both fabrics do contain synthetic material and will inevitably release microplastics during use. The health and environmental consequences of this are still largely unclear, but it is a problem that fabrics made from natural materials do not have.

Every cover comes off
All covers are removable and washable, so a spill never means permanent damage.Fabric questions
With a few simple habits, your Kairos sofa will stay beautiful for years. Regular maintenance prevents wear and tear and makes removing stains much easier.
We recommend vacuuming the upholstery weekly with a soft furniture brush on low suction. Dust, sand, and other dirt are not always visible, but they can damage the fabric over time.
If a stain does occur, carefully remove solid residue with a spoon and immediately blot up liquids with paper towels. Do not rub the stain and preferably use a specialized furniture cleaner.
All Kairos sofa covers are removable and washable. This allows you to easily keep your sofa fresh, so a minor accident does not immediately mean permanent damage. Wash covers inside out, following the instructions stated on the washing labels.
Yes. All covers are detachable and can be replaced individually. This allows you to replace damaged covers or give your sofa a new look without purchasing a completely new piece of furniture.
