Modularity: a sofa that grows with you
Sofas aren't discarded because they're worn out, but because they no longer fit. With modular design, your sofa grows with your life.

The importance of modularity: a sofa that grows with you
Counted on marktplaats.nl while writing this: some 12,000 second-hand sofas for sale, more than half of the ads describing them as 'as good as new'. [1] They're not discarded because they're worn out, but because they no longer fit. Different taste, different home, different family.
That's an enormous waste. And exactly the problem we solve with modular design.

Configure, adapt, reconfigure
Our sofas are made up of individual modules you can freely combine. From a compact two-seater to a spacious U-shape and everything in between. Moving to a smaller apartment? Remove a module. Growing family? Add one.
Modules couple and uncouple with steel coupling plates and a single Allen key (hex 4), the same tool the rest of the frame is built with. Your sofa changes with your life, not the other way around.

Left or right, it doesn't matter
A left-hand corner sofa that needs to become right-hand? With traditional sofas, that means buying a new one. With Kairos, you uncouple the modules and rebuild them the other way around. Two separate chaise longues just as easily become one long four-seater.
The same goes for the chaise longue: move it from left to right, or turn it into an extra seating element. You decide the layout.

New covers, new look
Ready for a different look? Order a new set of covers and give your sofa a completely fresh face, without replacing anything structural. From Facet in recycled wool to Avon woven from recycled PET, and from a quiet neutral to an outspoken statement colour. Your sofa adapts to your style.

Replace parts, not the whole sofa
A worn seat cushion or a broken spring doesn't mean a new piece of furniture. Order a replacement cushion pad, rehook a spring, or refill your back cushions. Every component is individually available and easy to swap yourself.
Keep your sofa like new, without throwing the rest away.
