Materials and maintenance: the upholstery
Our fabrics score 80,000 to 100,000 Martindale. Read all about maintenance, stain removal, and washing your covers.

The upholstery: appearance and protection
The upholstery largely determines a piece of furniture's appearance. That's why we work exclusively with premium upholstery fabrics. Some creasing or pilling during use is inevitable and every fabric discolours to some degree over time under the influence of daylight.
By keeping your sofa out of direct sunlight and vacuuming it regularly, you keep the upholstery looking good for as long as possible.

Maintenance: vacuuming and stain removal
Good fabric maintenance is essential. Dust particles combined with sand eventually damage the fabric. Vacuuming weekly is recommended, using a soft brush at low suction.
Stains never happen at a convenient time. We recommend keeping a maintenance and stain removal kit at home from James or LCK Nederland. Remove solids with a spoon, liquids with kitchen paper. Never dab or rub.

Washing tips: for your Kairos covers
All covers are removable and washable. Turn them inside out, close velcro and zippers, and wash with a mild detergent at low temperature on a delicate cycle. Spin at maximum 1000 RPM. Do not tumble dry.
Put the covers back on the cushions without further drying, they'll dry beautifully wrinkle-free. For wool fabrics: use the wool wash cycle with a special wool detergent.
