The frame is the foundation of your sofa. Kairos frames are made of steel with a premium powder coating. All parts can be assembled and disassembled with an Allen wrench (hex 4), the back frames, coupling plates, legs, and even the Kairos label.
This makes every component easy for anyone to maintain, or if necessary, repair or replace.
Nosag springs: years of resilience
The frames are fitted with a base of nosag springs. This hardened steel provides good resilience for years. Replacing a spring is easy to do yourself by tensioning it and pulling it over the mounting hook. We recommend wearing work gloves for this job.
To prevent floor scratches, frames come standard with plastic glides. Depending on the flooring, you can attach felt pads yourself, check and replace them regularly.
Maintenance: minimal and simple
Our frames are low-maintenance. Wiping with a dry cloth is usually sufficient. Greasy fingerprints and stains can be treated with a damp cloth and some dish soap, then wiped with clean water and dried. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives.
