SMS Terms

Our SMS programme sends two kinds of message: practical updates about an order you have placed, such as delivery and scheduling news, and — if you asked for them — marketing messages about our collections, offers and showroom events.

We send the messages through Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which delivers them on our behalf.

You join by giving us your mobile number and ticking the SMS box on one of our sign-up or checkout forms. Consent is not a condition of buying anything from us: you can order without it, and withdrawing it later does not affect an order you have placed.

By signing up you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and that the number you give us is yours, or that you are allowed to receive messages on it. If the number stops being yours, tell us so that we can stop messaging it.

Message frequency is recurring and varies. We send marketing messages a few times per month at most. Messages about an order are sent as that order requires.

We do not charge you for our messages. Your mobile operator's standard rates for messages and data may apply, and those charges are a matter between you and your operator. Check your plan if you are unsure.

Every marketing message we send contains an unsubscribe link. Tap it and we stop sending them.

Our messages are sent from a sender name rather than a phone number, which makes them one-way: you cannot reply to them. Replying STOP, or any other keyword, has no effect. Use the unsubscribe link, or email info@kairosfurniture.com or call 030 2270 669 and ask us to remove your number.

We act on your request without delay and free of charge. After you opt out of marketing we may still send you messages about an order you have already placed.

We cannot guarantee that a message arrives. Delivery depends on your operator, your device, your coverage and your settings, and messages may be delayed or not delivered at all. Mobile operators and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your mobile number, the record of your consent and your delivery data, how long we keep them, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

We never sell your mobile number and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with the processors that deliver the messages for us.

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is always the current one. If we make a significant change, we will tell you before it takes effect.

These SMS Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any dispute is submitted to the competent court in the district where we are established, unless mandatory law designates another court.
